Kiki Rozema

Kiki is the founder and CEO of the No Girl Left Behind Empowerment Event Ltd. in Canada, and her passion for empowering others is evident in each event.
Kiki received a nomination for the RBC Women of Influence in 2024, has a master’s degree in education, specializing in Multidisciplinary Leadership. As a former junior high teacher, Kiki has the knowledge and skills to teach others how to be empowered. Each year, she chooses a new theme to focus on for the event, and in 2026 it is AUTHENTIC YOU.
After writing an empowerment book for girls and another for women, Kiki knew it was tine to do more. She created a 3-day empowerment camp for girls, and it quickly sold out within hours of registration. When the camp became bigger than the facility, she decided to create an event that would impact girls and women immediately and would have long-lasting results.
Mowgli, Kiki’s registered therapy dog, joins her in volunteering at local schools and hospitals to provide comfort for those in need.
When she isn’t working on the event, Kiki enjoys substitute teaching and spending time travelling and boating in the Shuswap with her husband and 2 sons.

Speaking at No Girl Left Behind reflects her deep belief that when women support one another, and when girls grow up knowing they don’t have to compete to belong, entire communities become more resilient and connected.

Who We Are:
We are Andrew and Emily Kiedyk. Andrew is a long-time martial artist who originally developed this system for his
daughter. Emily is a Nurse-Practioner, survivor, and instructor. Together, we’ve decided to make the world a little bit better
for having been here.

We empower through Self-Defense.
We don't teach "fighting"; we teach reclaiming your space and your story. We truly believe every woman and girl
deserves to move through the world feeling safe and secure. You don't need any experience or a high fitness level. Our
goal is to meet you where you are and give you the tools you need to feel strong, smart, and prepared.

Dusty Sage

My journey has unfolded like the metamorphosis of a butterfly—slow, intentional, and deeply transformative. As a Métis Cree woman, reconnecting with my culture has helped me understand who I truly am and what grounds me. Through 24 years of teaching and 30 years of coaching, mostly volleyball, I’ve learned not just how to guide others, but how to stand fully in my own truth. Earning my Master’s in Educational Leadership strengthened my confidence, but my authenticity has come from embracing my identity, my experiences, and my voice.

Losing my mom in January has reshaped my life in profound ways. Her influence continues to guide me, reminding me to honour where I come from and to live in a way that reflects my real self. As I continue to grow and change, I carry her strength with me, using it to stay grounded in my culture and to remain true to who I am becoming.

Blayne Smith

My name is Blayne Smith, and I was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta. After spending 20 years in the restaurant industry as a waitress, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for connection, conversation, and the stories people carry. That same curiosity and compassion led me to begin my journey in Somatic Trauma Therapy, where I’ve just completed my first year of training.I’m passionate about healing, authenticity, and living life with an open heart. Animals hold a special place in my world, and travel continues to fuel my sense of wonder and growth. At my core, I value being true to myself and helping others feel safe enough to do the same.
